Finalists clear author kaapo, 26.3.2009 klo 21.32.
In brief: Jyväskylä - Bridgemagasiner 79 - 65 and Sue - Sortland 52 - 4.
In the first semifinal match (see the bulletin) Jyväskylä started strongly and took a clear lead after the first half. Later Bridgemagasiner took a spurt - but a little too close to the end. After the interesting end, Jyväskylä made it to the final.
In the other semifinal match Sue was unstoppabe and won the first half 52 - 4. That was the end of the match, too, as Sortland conceded and started to concontrate on the future competitions. Thus, two Finnish teams Jyväskylä and Sue will meet in the NFL final match.
Nordic Friendship League on BBO
Nordic Friendship League (NFL) is a team match league for bridge players mainly from Finland, Scandinavia and the Baltic countries. The league started in November on Bridge Base Online.
There are four groups in the third NFL. Registration has been completed. The teams taking part will play their matches on a weekly basis. The league will be completed in spring 2009.
