Cayne better in the "prize" match for the NFL winners author kaapo, 21.4.2009 klo 22.22.
In brief: Result of the long Tuesday evening match: 30 - 105.
Lots of kibitzers were watching the match between Jimmi Cayne's team and the winners of the Nordic Friendship League 2008-2009, team Sue, on BBO.
Especially Cayne's Polish top pair Martens - Jassem played a very tight game. Luck wasn't very much on the Finnish ladies side, either, and Cayne went on to win 30 - 105.
However, the match ended with Larry Lande's positive comment: "They deserve another chance."
Nordic Friendship League on BBO
Nordic Friendship League (NFL) is a team match league for bridge players mainly from Finland, Scandinavia and the Baltic countries. The league started in November on Bridge Base Online.
There are four groups in the third NFL. Registration has been completed. The teams taking part will play their matches on a weekly basis. The league will be completed in spring 2009.
